Exhibition: Carlos Ferran Garcia Sevilla and Caraicoa flavor
America is June 9 with exhibitions by Cuban artist Carlos Garaicoa Ferran Garcia Sevilla and Spanish painter. Using a multidisciplinary approach spans architecture, fiction, history and politics, Carlos Garaicoa used his hometown of Havana as a laboratory for the construction of provocative comments on a range of topics. These include the ability of architecture to change course history, the failure of modernism as a catalyst for social change and the decline of the 20 century utopia. Ferran GarcĂa Sevilla, eclectic style based on his world travels, and comics, urban graffiti, philosophy and Eastern cultures, resulting in major open spaces where everything, including the iconography and ideas mix. His early, crayons, primitives are often mixed with caustic soda, hand-scrawled comments on the life and policy.
Exhibitions Collection Irish Museum of Modern Art center stageMuseum Collection October 20, when all the galleries are devoted to the first exposure to both sides the works themselves IMMA collection. This is the first time the entire museum devoted to the collection in an ambitious project that preceded and followed until IMMA its 20 anniversary in 2011. The first part of the exhibition, entitled, The Modern, is plotted important artistic events and developments in 1900 and 1970, with about 100 artists through some 250 works. In addition, other collections of public and private keys help form the thread of historical and contextual exposure.

Loans Collection from January 14 to February 27 famous engravings of William Hogarth
, a courtesan of the collection, Madden Arnholz to IMMA, are presented as part of the City of Women in the laboratory, Foley Street, Dublin. Loans from the collection will also travel to the Aldrich Contemporary Art Museum, Ridgefield, Connecticut, Grunwald Center for Graphic Arts, Hammer Museum in Los Angeles, the Museum City of Strasbourg and the Sprengel Museum in Hanover. Meanwhile, the five-year loan of 22 works by Irish artists in the Irish Embassy in The Hague continues until 2012.
National Exhibition AlsoIMMA exhibitions, the collection will also be represented in a number of art centers and other locations around Ireland as part of the IMMA National Programme, an area in which the Museum has led the way as a true institution nationally in the last 13 years. In April, an exhibition of works from the collection of lists for Weltkunst IMMA since 1994 is held in the Crawford Art Gallery, Cork. This important collection of British drawings and sculptures of the 1980s and 90 return to the Weltkunst Foundation in 2010 and this is the last session of the works in this collection. In 2010, the program continues to develop its part by supporting development interventions in response to exhibitions of artists such as the drawing: performative action in Cavan County Museum, in November. Exploring the physical nature of the development of the exhibition includes work from the IMMA Collection in a variety of traditional media works on paper to job performance. Other projects in the offices County for the Arts also prominently in the coming year.
